I really like how they worked on the expansion of the game world and the fine tuning of the game’s mechanics.
The game comes with less characters and has a more focused story.
I do not know if I will like this more than the first one, but the gameplay, atmosphere and world are just top notch and a fresh take on fantasy.

Started playing Sleeping Gods - Distant Skies and spent a whole Sunday afternoon with it. What a beautiful game. Our first encounter were those two Mastodons.

Letztens gab es ein Demo-Event für #Turnip28 in Frankfurt. Ich durfte eine Runde bei Turn Up For Turnip spielen. Es war eine kleine Karte, weswegen es in der ersten Runde schon zu hartem Konflikt kam.
Der gegnerische Snob (heißt der Anführer der Warband, nicht der freundliche Mitspieler) wagte sich schnell aus der Deckung und wurde dann durch eine Menge Würfelglück von meiner Stump Gun vom anderen Ende der Karte erwischt.
Dafür wurde ich mit dem Fodder-Unite-Patch belohnt. Class was an issue.

Ich habe mir eine neue Lektüre für das Wochenende besorgt. Das Buch kommt mit drei neuen Klassen und einigen Ausbauregeln. Mal sehen, wie die Szenarien in dem Band sind. Ich mag das Einstiegsszenario aus dem Grundregelwerk, aber hatte da etwas Probleme mit der zeitlichen Einteilung. Ich bin gespannt auf mehr Stories aus der Welt von #PirateBorg #pnpde

In den Stories von #Lovecraft werden recht häufig konkrete Daten genannt.
Wir haben uns hingesetzt und zu den einzelnen Terminen einen Newsletter verfasst, der an den entsprechenden Terminen die jeweilige Geschichte vorstellt und die Textpassagen in einen literarischen, historischen, kulturellen oder gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhang stellt.
Wir setzen uns auch kritisch mit dem Autor auseinander.

I've played one run as Cleopatra and achieved religious victory. Strange concept but the game mechanics were kind of interesting. Usually we switch it off in multiplayer though.
Naming the religion you found anyway you want is a nice feature in Civilization VI but usually I am not very creative there.

Tiramisu als Nachtisch
Anstelle von Arkham Horror wurde es #abgrundtief (Unfathomable). Die Menschen haben knapp gewonnen, sind aber aufgrund eines Unfalls fast daran gescheitert, genug Passagiere zu retten. Wir werden es wieder spielen, aber dann mit 5-6 Leuten.

We've restarted #Valheim on a new server to see the effects of the updates that have been added.
I really like the early phase of the game when the blue trolls still mean a major threat and exploring the Black Forest is something we don't dare alone at night.

I liked the #Witcher concert. The music and performance by #PercivalSchuttenbach and the orchestra were really good.
I would have expected more flavour at the event though. The conductor stressed that this was not supposed to be a usual concert but overall they didn’t do much to encourage and support that.
Putting lights in front of the screen that played scenes from the Wild Hunt was not helpful.
I’ll try to get a ticket for the band in a smaller venue next time.
