On Wednesday, as part of the Aspire Programme and as a follow up from our Y10 Careers Day, 30 Y10 students were invited to attend the HSBC Head Office in Sheffield. They completed some skills sessions, a tour safari, and a cybersecurity escape room task before considering the pathways HSBC can offer for them in the future. A key piece of advice for the day came from the keynote speaker - “Always be curious and continue to explore all your options!” #enjoyingexcellence

Last week we welcomed Emma and Jayne from Willmott Dixon to support our students who remained in school during Y10 Work Experience Week. They focused on employer soft skills such as communication and teamwork whilst building a dodecahedron. It was a fantastic session, thank you so much. #enjoyingexcellence

The children started the day with a motivational talk by Kamal Ellis-Hyman, Founder of ‘Aim a Little Higher’ and then they followed tasks as ‘HSBC Apprentices’ where they needed to develop a technology-focused solution to support others with managing their finances #enjoyingexcellence
