I'm back with a new offering of music. Today I was in a livestream chat and we were listening to songs, one reminded me of this beaut by the Japanese Post-Rock Mono. I once saw them play this live at a concert in Brighton and I will never forget listening to the reverse while watching the sun dip below the horizon on the last note behind the west pier. Noticing the sad reality that thin is in again, in a bad way. After we did so much work in the 2010s to promote body positivity. Idk if its the early 00s trends or the discovery of super effective weight loss medicines like ozempic, but it's like going back in time.

(Not upset about ozempic existing, I gather its extremely helpful for many people, its peoples perceprion of whats fashionable that troubles me.)

Sometimes when I'm having trouble sleeping at night I tell myself im going to take a nap and it helps me go to sleep. Yet I never take naps during the day unless I have like bad fatigue where im not given a choice. But like why does lying to myself sometimes work haha.
