Fine. I’ll update the dates on our mastodon profile. 😂

@GrrCON was a fun ride this year. The talks were good and I feel like I talked with a lot, a lot of people. I'll get a writeup soon on my blog with my thoughts. But I will say, they were positive and thank you to everyone who put it on and took the time to talk with me.
@GrrCON Mood.

Grrcon is over. Here’s to next year.

As we become increasingly disconnected in a world full of social media that is anything but, it is critical for spaces like this to exist and thrive. Not just for showing off exploits or getting up to shenanigans, but for the very real human connection these events provide.

It’s been a year of ups and downs, and being able to give a talk to a group of folks who are equally passionate about what I am passionate about felt great, A/V issues aside.

Thanks to the folks at @GrrCON for being awesome.

Thanks everyone for another really great year. We’re stoked you had so much fun with our charm bracelets! We’ll see you next year September 24th and 25th!

Also, pour one out for the OG Bessie. She was put to rest like she would have wanted - stuffed in a DeVos trash can. #grrbola #hazardouswaste #snickerdoodles

Miss out on #shittercon today? Tomorrow, San Juan Shitter Con once again, stall 2 at 2!
Presented without comment. I wonder if this is how grrbola happens. 🤔
WoooOooOoo! @GrrCON is officially open!!!!1one11

’Twas the night before @GrrCON and all through the net,
Not a danger was missing, no password was set.
The hackers were dreaming of data to steal,
And laughing at captchas designed to be real.

Their badges were blinking, their laptops aglow,
With fresh CTF puzzles and banners in tow.
When out on the WiFi there came such a ping,
They sprang from their beanbags — “Let’s do our own thing!”

With exploits and payloads, the room came alive,
And nobody’s printer was left to survive.
So here’s to the hackers, the coders, the crew:
Happy GrrCON to all, may your root shells come true!
