It’s cold outside, and I’m reclined on the couch under my fleece throw about to dive into the new #TheWitcher #BloodOrigin series.

A friend gave us a recipe that has forever ruined regular cinnamon rolls for us. So I’m sharing. You’re welcome.

2 cans cinnamon rolls
Heavy cream
1 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
Cinnamon and a bit of salt

Preheat oven per pkg directions
Melt butter & mix w/brown sugar
Place rolls in greased pans
Pour cream on top of each, let pool in pan
Pour butter/sugar over rolls
Sprinkle with cinnamon/salt
Bake at longest time per pkg
Cool for 3 mins
Spread icing over tops

Was anyone else subjected to the short film #TheLottery based on the story by #ShirleyJackson in elementary school? I remember my class watching it once a year for several years, starting in the 4th or 5th grade, and was pretty scarred by it for life.

I found it on YouTube and wondered how it held up. I think this answers that.

We saw a hawk on today’s walk. It was on a tree pretty close to the walking path and didn’t seem to mind us stopping to admire it.
