I am an "old." 54 going on 13. I am a former US Navy Submariner. (Nuke). Having just had my first heart attack, I no longer can be concerned about stressful things. I am only in control of my own feelings. That being said, I am open to new friends of all types. I'm into science, astronomy, astrophotography, gaming, riding motorcycles and punk rock.

this isn't the first time I've had to go digging through the bushes looking for Mr. Bear; Odin, I hope you have learned this time about not leaving your toys teetering on the balcony railing! https://infosec.exchange/@0xabad1dea/115028967317294205

After Odin’s plush ball fell from the balcony and was later found brutally murdered by a lawnmower, I became deeply worried about the fact that I couldn’t find Mr. Bear, who has been with Odin since he was a baby.

After three different search and rescue missions, Mr. Bear has been recovered alive from the dense undergrowth. I also found a ball belonging to the toddler next door.

Feeling inadequate because everyone on Mastodon appears to be an author or a lawyer or a scientist?

Follow me and feel better about yourself, for I have the intellect of a clever potato.

a long, shallow, rectangular body of water in Amsterdam that is a bit green, and pleasant for it.
One of the things that fries my hide about cops shooting into cars that they felt threatened them is the lack of a reasonable expectation that shooting the driver will improve the chances of officer survival. As we see with Reneé Good, when you shoot someone, they don’t just stop the car and put it in park. Making the vehicle randomly dangerous instead of somewhat predictably dangerous is probably not improving the scene safety.
Another of my favorites from the last kiln load. I’m sending it to a gallery for a show in July. The theme is geometric patterning! #pottery
