Today in Labor History March 21, 1965: 3,200 people began the third march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, to protest racial violence. Earlier efforts to hold the march had failed when police attacked demonstrators and a minister was fatally beaten by a group of Selma whites. The five-day walk ended March 26, when 20,000 people joined the marchers in front of the Alabama state Capitol in Montgomery. This time they were defended by national guards and FBI agents. Soon after, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

The Internet Archive—the world’s largest digital library—has preserved newspapers since it went online in the mid-1990s....

Phoenix police will not discipline any officers for their roles in a massive city scandal where officials invented a fake gang and then falsely charged protesters as members back in 2020.
At work we've had a long-term problem with Azure that artifacts built by pipelines that are bigger than few 100MB cannot be downloaded properly and the server stops sending the content at random points. We've tried this on Windows, Linux and MacOS with firefox, waterfox, chrome, chromium and wget and we've reported this to M$ in November. I we just hit it again today with two different ISO images.
