I just got back from the gym - I’ve managed to get back up to 30 minutes on the elliptical machine. I forgot how much quieter my mind is after a good workout. A+ highly recommend.

2 PRs (personal records) tonight at #OlympicLifting, 185lbs Squat Snatch and 245lbs Clean & Jerk.

Pretty good for a (nearly) 50 year old who's had an unreliable back and unstable shoulder for a while.

Really shows you can build strength after one's “peak”.

I do HIIT regularly, like @GoGetGlazed offers, I really recommend training like that regardless of your age.

Always show some love to your gym equipment. Dropping weights is a big no-no, especially with dumbbells and kettlebells. Don't risk breaking them - treat them with care! #gymetiquette
Remember, a workout that doesn't challenge you is not a workout at all. But half the battle is already won when you show up at the gym, whether it's in your garage or down the street. So put on your fitness gear and show up! Your body will thank you. #fitnessquote
