I suspect that people buy A HUGE AMOUNT of food over Christmas, potentially overeat quite a bit, people who are talented that way might freeze leftovers and all the sensible stuff... and the rest gets chucked. We can't possibly eat all THAT MUCH.
And the jingles drive me bananas and out of the store as soon as I can escape. My Sainsbury's is open quite late so I sometimes shop after 9pm. Much fewer people. But lots of racks of stuff bring shelved. I wouldn't want that job.

I have been thinking of moving my chatty old self to a different instance. Been dithering about with various ones I looked at but nothing really grabbed me, but I think I have now found my new home. As soon as I figure out how to move everything over that's move-over-able (not posts, I know. You'll be glad), I will then get started on that. My new account is : @Giselle. It will take me a few days. I will eventually close this account but I'm not in a hurry with that.
@cheribaker It really has something, doesn't it. Even though Rob felt that it doesn't have the proper provenance of 15th century coinage. But if people in the 1400s got the fun of making these up, than why not us today!?
