Another sleeve design I drafted. This is the one I started my sleeve shape journey with. I had loads of fun drafting this! Inspiration pic printed from the Internet on the right. It also shows the shape of the sleeve pattern piece. It looked challenging but do'able.
The central shape with the curve for the top of the sleeve head turned out not to be tall enough, I couldn't get the horizontal pleat with this. Will post my V2 pic when I find it.
Oh my goodness, the Dems are going to keep the US Senate, that's terrific news!! Particularly after Mid Term elections that "always" go against the party in power.
I must say that I was utterly dreading the horrible legislation (social security, healthcare) the Republicans will come up with that Biden would have had to veto. Not sure of the nuances, is this good news for the debt ceiling? As in hopefully abolishing that pro forma procedure?

I just remembered why I didn't pick up this #socks project for a while. I have no idea where I am in the pattern. That comes from winging it and deciding to change the stitch pattern. I know I added two columns of single purl stitches to make these more stretchy.
I'm sure I will figure it out eventually.
This is one of my recent knits, a pair of socks in bright pink. A favourite colour.
I always knit both socks at the same time on two sets of DPNs because I can't be doing with second sock syndrome, that drives me stark raving bonkers: I would never get a pair done.
I adore cinema, and happily joined the film club at work (we only meet by phone, we don't go to the movies together. Unfortunately). The latest idea was to pick your top 3 of a genre. Historical drama this month.
So of course I had to order the DVD to make sure this is as good as I remember. I can't wait to watch Stage Beauty again! One of my top 5 all time fave films.

This is the skinner blend that I made my first Rose #PolymerClayCane with. I didn't use all the red from the left. Next time I'll put much more magenta in the middle, and make the light shade a stronger light pink.
Well then, I'm doing okay it seems. Just going over some old lessons before they change the home page from 1st Nov. To a "path" rather than a collection of circles. We shall see what that'll be like.

I'm pleased with the buttons I chose, and even more so that I'm done with buttons AND button holes. Yay!
