Me:
Friends and followers, Iβm so proud to announce that I am now a Nobel Laureate. Because I made this medal for myself and thatβs how it works. π
You may now congratulate me.
Recently, I decided to organize my work area. One thing that I decided was long overdue was to thread-measure and sort the myriad of computer screws and standoffs, storing them in a single container. This included both personal inventory and (defunct) old spare parts from my workplace. It was a jumble. And man, it was a time-consuming, thankless slog.
But now it's done, and whenever I look at this container, I feel a proud sense of accomplishment. That is all. π€π©

Adrian Black was kind enough to wear my "DeoxIT that Socket" shirt at the VCFMW panel this year β for which I am very grateful.
It reminded me that I still have two shirts (men's large) that I want to give away. One DeoxIT shirt, and the "PC stickers overload" shirt. Want one of them? Just be the first two to DM me and I'll send the lucky winners a shirt with some Bad Caps stickers (Of course, if you live in the US, I can't guarantee it'll be tariff-free). π
Found an old photo of young Geekman, circa late 90's. Pictured: Performa 6200, StyleWriter 2, prominently placed boxes from Marathon 2 and SimCity 2000, analog telephone... oh, and let's not forget the hanging mobile made from CDs.
