So, expect some thoughts over the next few days. Not s review unit from Apple and PR was not involved in any way. For reference, here are my thoughts after the launch of AVP and all the reasons I'm skeptical, if not of the long term concept, but of this device and what it offers.

After going through my closets and drawers, I found enough old Apple gear to trade in that brought the cost of a Vision Pro to just under $1k (yes, I had an awful lot of stuff laying around*). At that price, it's time to give it a go (or worst case, return it for a nice shiny new Mac). Any questions for a skeptic turned owner? Time to go down the rabbit hole.
*I also have a 20" G4 "Luxo" Mac brand new, sealed in box and a G4 Cube that weren't eligible for trade in.
Don't look for a big price cut on the Apple Vision Pro. More likely a 128gb model for $2,999
Look for an Apple Vision for holiday 2024. Likely no cameras on the front, no 4k, 1080p using current Sony micro LED liquid retina or some new buzzword. Plastic, polycarbonate frame. No extra straps or charger. Runs the full catalog of vison pro apps. Starting at $1,999. We can't wait to see what you do with it.
