I recently visited a small city upstate New York and went for a walk to take pictures of the city. I found areas where individuals had drawn murals expressing their thoughts. The first pic below called my attention: it expressed deep personal feelings. The second pic, which was taken the same day, shows the setting up of a county fair. In my mind, these pics illustrate the realities we encounter everyday between our struggles and city agencies’ shortcomings in providing help #photography #love

Robert Moses created havoc in neighborhoods by building highways in the middle of densely populated areas. This pic here shows a segment of the Cross Bronx Expressway being in the process of demolishing homes. Just trace an imaginary line as the construction will tear apart the neighborhoods.
