I like computering. Doing security research at Rapid7 Labs.

This is a professional account. Used to play a lot of CTF with @EatSleepPwnRpt and @StratumAuhuur

Even worse! A KLM with a German registration? That's it! We are leaving RIGHT NOW!

We are currently at a park with the kids with a bunch of slides, jungle gyms etc.
I'll have to file a complaint though. There are these miniature airframes with attached slides for the kids to climb in/on/around. The aircraft registration starting with D-D doesn't exist though. I can't unwatch that.

Getting there. God, that was a lot of absolutely awful work. Aligning these MGN12 rails on the Y- and Z-Axis and getting them parallel and flat was an absolute nightmare. But it's smooth now.

Now comes the scary part: Ripping apart the old printer to harvest the motor and hot-end. There's no way back should I have forgotten to print something.

Before I buy a Prusa Core One, I decided to at least finish building the Anet AM8 BLV MGN12 printer and try it out. I have a shitton (read: all!) of the parts I need laying around for multiple years now.

This evening is presented to you by me taking apart the MGN12 carriages and cleaning them. I took a few noses of IPA and feel a bit dizzy right now. This work is complete shit and it's why I put off assembling the thing for so long. Totally looking forward of assembling them and cleaning the next three I need. I hate it.

Oh, they want to integrate Grok into Teslas? This poster becomes relevant again.

Every time I am taking an ICE train, I have to think of this accident report where sheep derailed a train in a tunnel: https://www.jonroma.net/media/rail/accident/germany/014_Landrueckentunnel.pdf

They even modeled the sheep. Look at it!

Spoiler alert: In that specific circumstance with a speed of 210km/h, you need 10 sheep to derail the train.

Ja. Das meinte ich. 🍻
Oh yeah! That environment is so fucking protected... #gpn

FÜNFZIG MEGAPIXELS? Böööö!

I've been vibe-coding my staircase illumination protocol code, bootloader on the AVRs and a service client to talk to it. At some point Claude started adding a shitton of emojis and I just stuck with it.

I now have a fully working loader, I can tell the application to reset into loader mode, I can address individual lamps, it took me a while and I needed to fix a bunch of bugs, but everything works now.

I'd estimate this was 2-3 times faster than doing it without any help from AI.

Next I need to implement an animation player that can load LED animations from flash and cycle through them with interpolation between "key frames" using a central clock packet that the master will send out. Then I can preload animations and play them back later.

Then more work on my KNX device stack to fully integrate them into the house and make the motion sensors on the walls control them depending on the time of day and current brightness in the staircase.
