Imagine being a video game area designer and you're told to make a slightly difficult to get to area. You're the designer, you don't entirely know what monster or reward they're gonna put there.
The game comes out and the reward placed there is the equivalent of finding thirty cents in game in an actual treasure chest.
Is this how studios give the middle finger to designers/devs? Looking at you, Santa Monica.

Huge shout out to Santa Monica studios. God of war: Ragnarok has the best visual accessibility options I think I've ever experienced. I'm dying marginally less than I normally do in games these days and it feels good.
