I was like this: avoiding conflict, trying to find any other way, and hard to say "no". I realized some people take advantage of that, and at the same time they showed exactly what kind of people they are—and not in a positive way.
Today, I defended someone who was crying, because emotions are okay, allowed, and more welcome than toxic masculinity.
For me, it has been a positive change: to stand for who you are and what you believe in. Speaking up against bullying is a powerful tool.
