Hiya! If you hadn't noticed, I'm moving my dev stuff over to Sleeping Town at
@Fenreliania! This account will basically just be here for historical reasons.
Anybody know of a good Mastodon client for Linux?
Like, I can take a window and push it up against the edge of the screen and it has a bit of a buffer where it snaps to the edge or corner rather than just going offscreen. I can put a window on top of it, and while resizing it, it will do the same thing with the edge of other windows underneath it. I can easily size multiple windows to the same dimensions this way, or divide a screen up nicely.
Windows: Works exactly how it's supposed to most of the time, gives you a wide area to do what you want within but limited levers to affect the OS itself.
Linux: High barrier to entry, requires a high minimum level of technical knowledge to even start using, often shaky. Significantly nicer to use if you meet those requirements, significantly more can be done about problems you encounter.
