Das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) freut sich neben dem @bfdi als weitere Bundesbehörde nun auch auf Mastodon vertreten zu sein. Als Cyber-Sicherheitsbehörde des Bundes gestaltet das BSI die Informationssicherheit in der Digitalisierung für unsere Gesellschaft. Wir werden hier regelmäßig Tröts zu verschiedenen technischen Themen veröffentlichen und freuen uns auf den Austausch!

FediTips has moved!In case you missed it, Google Play recently removed the @Tusky Mastodon app without proper explanation.
Tusky is one of the best Android Mastodon apps, with nothing controversial in it at all. It's quite disturbing that Google can and does act like this.
An alternative and much better way of getting Tusky onto your Android device is by using the independent FOSS app store @fdroidorg

I had announced this move weeks ago, mentioning I would be available via the usual channels (phone, email, etc.) and also via #matrix. That's it. No preaching, no convincing, no expectations.
To my surprise, more than 10% of the 100+ contacts I notified, downloaded #element and all my "important" contacts are now on Matrix!
I'm thrilled!
