In real time, I was team "oh, just let them race." Rewatching from different angles, though...Marc divebombs and exits that corner on the outside white line. That isn't a block-pass, that's squeezing someone off the track. Correct penalty, IMO.

Reading both Marquez's and Rossi's comments about title totals and rivalries...good grief they're both full of it. Contra MM, they *did* fight for titles (unless MM wasn't really trying in 2015; and 2016 was almost a Rossi title were it not for mechanical failures and rain). Contra VR, they were absolutely rivals on track (and MM is the one who finally got the best of him).

Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to be besties. But this is grade school nonsense.
