Always fascinating to see nature fight back and reclaim the space when humans give up. This former pond with a concrete base is being rapidly populated with grey willow saplings, just like the mature tree that stands tall on the other side. If the humans continue to do nothing, trees will trump concrete, and it will soon be a forest.... #trees #rewilding #nature
