I honestly can't remember why I chose mastodon.social now, but it was years ago and it was a general and open server as opposed to more specific ones. I think if I was choosing now I might find it more confusing.

To put it in perspective the number of monetizable daily active users on Twitter grew by ~25000 daily in 2022 (apples-to-oranges comparison).
I had not expected that sushi would have taken over Italian food in Germany. And perhaps they haven’t won yet. But here’s yet another amazing sushi meal in Stuttgart.
