Trump Launches $88 Billion Fund For Anyone Who Has Ever Been Rejected By Woman

WASHINGTON—Declaring the money long overdue compensation for some of the nation’s most persecuted individuals, President Donald Trump announced an $88 billion fund Tuesday specifically appropriated to any man ever rejected by a woman. “At long last, there will be justice for every man in America who was very unfairly told no,” said the president, noting […]

Average earnings in the UK is approx 40000/year.
After income tax, vat etc that's about 20000 / year paid in taxation.
Give or take that equals approx 1 million per person over a working life of 50 years.

So last year the government wasted 6600 peoples entire lifetimes contribution to the country.
6600 people paying tax their whole life, to be thrown away by ineptitude.

Ditched government projects lost taxpayer £6.6bn last year, watchdog says

Spending committee finds MoD most wasteful and also points to cancelled schemes such as Rwanda and Stonehenge

Here's a strange situation:

thousands of #Rust developers use #bacon, #broot, #dysk, or #lazy-regex every single day — tools I wrote, maintain, and improve for free.

Their companies, though? None of them want to hire their author.

If you use my tools at work and your company does #Rust, I'd really appreciate a hand landing a job or freelance mission. A boost goes a long way. 🙏🦀

So we've got two Reform MSPs now. That’s not great. They’ll be rubbish and probably racist.

But, we don’t need to take this passively. It’s time to start holding them to account, to expose their shortcomings, to announce their mistakes.

Write to them about your *local* issues, write to our local and regional papers when they don’t perform, or handle your query/request with a slogan.

In short, make them work.

It’s the quickest way to show them up.

“Every country that has tried to build its way out of housing crises without dealing with the underlying problem of inequality and distribution has built a slum. The whole world is filled with these places that have had no restrictions on housing, and they built a massive shanty town outside of their city.

“And you think that can’t happen in a country like Australia. I grew up in Ilford, which is a poor suburb of East London...it was a poor suburb for working-class families, and it is now a slum. It’s as simple as that. All respect to the people that live there, is a place of desperate poverty, and those family homes are now expanded backwards, expanded upwards, and rented out by the room.

“Australia is a bit behind on this, but you’re going in the same direction. You will build a super luxury centre surrounded by extremely low-quality slums.”

Why this economist says WA can’t build its way out of housing crisis

WAtoday put questions about WA’s economy, particularly the state’s housing crisis, to Stevenson, who became a multi-millionaire while working for Citibank, ahead of his show on Monday.

All these years of attempting to be creative and make connections and still I’m here with the begging bowl to see if I can sell a few more tickets for a poorly selling one off show in a studio theatre space in London - anyway, I am at Kings Place on 16th May - come and see 21st Century’s Archie Rice
