Highly annoyed at people who don't keep to schedules they themselves set. Could have gone to the gun show this morning to shop around for AK ammo and magazines this morning, but had to keep the morning free for someone who said we'd do stuff then flaked out and is still flaking out on me, so that I'll have to waste the afternoon as well.

I don't know about most folks, but I've fantasized about my death on at least a weekly if not daily basis for at least 3 decades now. It doesn't mean I plan to do it, and I really suspect it's not all that uncommon. As an atheist, death holds no special fear, just wistfulness at not getting to find out what happens in future, and a sort of relief at not having to worry about everything I worry about while alive.

So over on birdsite, I'm getting introduced to the term 'leftcom', and I'm not impressed so far. The guy seems to want claim you can't be a socialist if you focus more on anti-imperialism than on (what, domestic?) class struggle, which seems like nonsense to me. Imperialism is class struggle writ large, with the bourgeoisie oppressing entire nations. The two are not different things, but the same thing on different scales.
Random complaint.
I keep getting full article requests on ResearchGate, but I lost my password, and for whatever reason, every time I ask for a reset, it takes the email with the token in it so long to get to me that it's expired and can't be used, so I can never get back in to the account. People on there must think I'm a real ass.

Hmm, just got two almost identical emails, with two words and one logo shifted between them from 'Socialist Alternative' and 'Movement for the 99%'. Either one is plagiarizing the other, or they're working together and lucky me, I've gotten onto both mailing lists somehow.
I really need to use a real mouse with my laptop. I keep unfollowing when I want to hit back, and over on birdsite, I was forever hitting the follow button when I was trying to block people on comment like lists.
Just under 6 liters of black raspberry juice so far from berries I picked out back . Jellywise, you get twice as much jelly as juice, so enough to make about 11-12 liters of jelly. Running out of containers to freeze the juice in til we're ready to start boiling it up into jelly.
Does anyone else get random 500 errors when you follow someone or like something so you have to do it a second or even third time?
