I told myself I wouldn't be buying myself any advent calendars this year but my inner child got the better of me
So now i have both a fancy chocolate calendar and a huge pen calendar 
I recently found out that "black cocoa" apparently is a thing and naturally had to try it
The powder is black as coal and smell really strange, and my chocolate milk is just... straight up grey lmfao 😭
I may have become slightly obsessed with comic-prose lol >:D
The experimental, diffiicult and other aspects of it that I probably shouldn't like is somehow endlessly fascinating and fun to me 😂
These pages in particular shows more mixed pages and transitions in and out of comic and prose sections. But I'm switching between the formats very organically and depending on what fits.
My general rule of thumb is action/visual description = comic, and introspection/low action dialogue = prose.
My vision for the story is to have some sections that are full comic, some that are basically illustrated novel, with the bulk somewhere inbetween.
Trying to be more active here again, it's been a long time though so like, where to start? 😂
Well, one thing that the past 3 years of getting through burnout and depression got me was the hard but necessary realization that I need to rethink the format of Pandanzeia because pure comics are just too taxing on me.
What I arrived at is going mixed media and honestly I kinda love it! Here's a few draft/thumb pages from my first experiments with a "comic-prose" format 😊
