Instead of complaining about a "two-tiered justice system" investigating disproven Biden allegations, Republicans on the Oversight Committee should look at a real two-tiered system: unfair treatment of people of color.

Nearly 1,000 children and teenagers have lost their lives to gun violence so far in 2023.

Our young people deserve a chance to bond over books rather than find comradery dodging bullets in their classrooms.

As Gun Violence Awareness Month comes to an end, there have been more than 315 mass shootings in the United States so far this year.

Tonight I spoke with ABC News Live to explain that while extremist politicians pursue a retaliatory, racist agenda like today’s vote to oust Rep. Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, House Democrats are committed to solving real-life, kitchen table issues #ForThePeople.

Lest we forget…

I am proud to cosponsor legislation this Congress that preserves Black history, including the African American History Act, which will invest $10 million in the National Museum of African American History and Culture to ensure we can teach and #TellTheTruth.

Extremists need to stop playing political games with the lives of working people and families.

Democrats stand with the people. Dismantling Medicare and Social Security will never be up for debate.

As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi passes the gavel today, I reflect on the privilege of serving under such a dynamic and inspirational leader during my first years in Congress.

Thank you for everything, Madam Speaker.

Feeling bad for the AP US History students who will have to write an open-ended essay about this Speaker vote ten years from now
