@gannet You are so strong! I had completed the little gifts I've made for friends and thought, great! An early night 😴 I just popped into my sewing room for a second last night. An hour & a half later I had progressed in making a new bag for myself 😮💨 So much for an early night.
@Snowshadow I haven't been successful with hand quilting. I just stitched in the ditch for this one. I'm trying to improve my free motion quilting but have a long way to go 😟I'll get there one day ☺️
@Snowshadow Thanks! It went together nicely. The hexagonal are just a square with each corner snowballed. An effective technique to make difficult shapes easily.

My Library displays a new quilt each month by local quilters. Last Christmas a similar quilt to this one was on display and my friend expressed a desire for just such a quilt. The background was easy, but getting cat shapes to conform and stitching them on was a nightmare. She was happy with the result but I'm in no hurry to make more cats.
