the sonsio grand prix at indianapolis today showed everything wrong with modern indycar stewardship. lap 1 chaos. a 30-minute delay while fox aired a UFL game instead of racing. then—most egregiously—a disabled car sat on the straightaway while pits stayed open. driver safety was sacrificed for pit cycle fairness. the driver in the disabled car had to walk across an active pit lane. this is backwards. #IndyCar #motorsports #RaceControl
