Here in Garnisonsparken—“Tjyvaparken”—far outside the city, poor soldiers from the Malmö Garrison Parish were buried between 1809 and 1870, and between 1827 and 1891, prisoners who died during their incarceration at Malmöhus Fortress were laid to rest.
This stone honors all these individuals, who for various reasons were excluded from the community of their time, and calls on future generations to reflect.

Här i Garnisonsparken - "Tjyvaparken" - långt utanför staden, begravdes fattiga soldater från Malmö Garnisonsförsamling under åren 1809-1870 och 1827-1891 de fångar som dog under sin fängelsetid på fästningen Malmöhus.
Denna sten hedrar alla dessa personer, som av olika anledningar uteslutits ur sin tids gemenskap och uppmanar framtiden till eftertanke.

Such was the verdict passed on women who, because of their talents, their knowledge, and their manner of being, were deemed so dangerous that they were accused of being witches. They were burned at the stake here in Kirseberg between 1543 and 1663.

Så löd domen över de kvinnor, som pga sin begåvning, sina kunskaper och sitt sätt att vara, ansågs så farliga att de anklagades för att vara häxor. De brändes på bål här i Kirseberg under åren 1543-1663.
