Just a shoutout to @Monorepo who is the reason I was remarkably less frazzled last year. Jacob is fucking great.
I’m also not leaving the community 💜, I’ll be around and am very much looking forward to continuing to contribute and volunteer in the long run.

I’m thrilled to have helped to bring the PSF to a place where this transition does not feel utterly terrifying and am grateful to all of the PSF staff, board, volunteers, and community members that have made that possible.
I’m not going to be riding into the sunset though 🙂. I am grateful to be able to commit 20% of my time over the next six months to support the current and any new PSF staff in assuring continuity and reliability around my responsibilities.
Some news, I’ll be departing the PSF as a staff member at the end of this week.

It has been an incredible… nearly 8 years serving as the Director of Infrastructure for the Python Software Foundation, but it is time for me to do something new.
Excellent news, the modeling step has been completed in the first prototype snaking will be cast in the coming days!
The manufacturer I’m working with will be able to customize the ring sizing as well as overall length to order, with no significant cost increase due to their methods.
This is gonna be so dope
