Security is cool. Right guys?

ProofPoint shows end users DMARC failed emails when they're classified as spam!
By default spam quarantine has higher precedence than DMARC, so end users get these in their digest. Users do not see that the sender failed DMARC and can release it.

The (undocumented) solution is to contact ProofPoint support to set DMARC Quarantine at a higher precedent.

Why is this not the default? When would you want DMARC failed Spam in your digest?

@avarisclari I'm a Yooper and I refer to it as "The Mitten" or just "Downstate".
@leerayl I often consider doing this. There's definitely a need. What always stops me is that for a lot of people, as soon as you touch their device, you're perceived as the source of their issues and frustrations.
Assisting home users on a word of mouth ad-hoc basis has allowed me to not stay tied down in these situations.
Maybe one day if I discover a way to vet and set user expectations...
