Uuugh minutes to download a single image. I hate this cellular internet! GAwge!
Almost had my first successful long, overnight print. I think what happened was the storm last night caused a brown out wish caused some motor skipping. The top half of it printed fine, just off-set.
I was excited about creature cooking game, but then pants! :CCCCCC
:D First successful 3d print in a long time. I don't know what settings I changed to get it to finally stick. (and it might have just been luck. next print could be a failure again.) (RJ45 clip protector

Gawgwe I want a little excavator! If only I had a house and a yard.
Watching one of the Herbie Love Bug movies. Oh look, (screenshot) Cat tails. GAWGWEGE There are always cat tails in TV shows and movies but GWGWGW Always out of my reach! UUUggh! My life goal since I was a youngling is to see what they feel like.
Making more progress on 3d printer. I found the issues that was causing the z-offset to be ignored. And read that one of my issues was bed adhesion. Someone said they used a wooden build plate at one point. I don't have any wood so I tried paper and it worked for a test. I think tried to print a small object. After the first layer, the printer began zooming. I have some more figuring out to do. The print head was constantly moving more in one direction over time. Too fast for steppers?
I literally glued the sensor probe to slightly higher spot so now the robe isn't touching the print anymore. So printing is getting slightly better. But no matter what I try, the left side is always getting lower than the right even though I'm probing there. I wonder if it's because the Z-axis motors use the same wires. The left screw might have a bit more resistance than the right so the main amount of power is getting to the right motor.
I'm at the point where I can attempt printing with my 3d printer. But still need to do a lot of work. I think the touch probe is exactly the same height of the nozzle so it's slightly dragging on the print. But don't know how else I'm going to mount it differently as the only mounting spot is a spot that was designed for an induction probe. The problems could also be z-offset, or flow rate. Also the bed seems better on the left than the right which the touch probe was supposed to detect.
What do schools have against ghosts wanting an education!?
