Come and say hi!

¡Una gran noticia! Estaré de vuelta en Colombia en abril para hablar tres veces FILBo ¡No puedo esperar! Extraño tu café.

Great news! I will be back in Colombia in April to speak three times at the Bogata book festival. I can't wait! I miss your coffee.

I'd like to thank Amets Arzallus for giving me copy of his amazing book, Little Brother. He transcribes Ibrahima Balde's travels across Africa into Europe to find his brother. An amazing tale of willpower and strength. It shortened my long stay in Bogota Airport considerably.

What, you haven't heard the Emotional Apes debut podcast yet with Dan Burnett and Richard Firth-Godbehere?

What are you possibly waiting for?

It used to be this time of year that people like myself got asked to write about Blue Monday. Now it's the time of year people like me get asked to write about why Blue Monday is myth.

Well, here's one I wrote last year.

Horror and hope: how ‘Blue Monday’ became the saddest day of the year

A clever marketing ploy was aided by a powerful mix of emotions, seeding Blue Monday into the public consciousness for good, says Dr Richard Firth-Godbehere

Here's a thread some might find surprising from me. But hear me out. I had a bit of a revelation this morning. I kinda get who I am (he says, reaching for his hippiest tie-dye bell bottoms). #mindfulness #mentalhealth
