By Trump (via Bondi) firing Maurene Comey (James Comey's daughter) – he's only adding fuel to the fire. Trump's base won't take this as some sacrificial act. It won't quiet them at all – it will further catalyze their strong suspicions that Trump is complicit in a true conspiracy.

Pam Bondi fired her personal ethics advisor, Joseph Tirrell, last Friday, a 20-year career DOJ/FBI attorney. Tirrell, who was also head of the DOJ’s ethics office, was not given a reason for his immediate dismissal.
