Hi!

You might know (of) me from such excellent websites as demozoo.org or pouet.net. That means you're also pretty awesome since you're involved with the demoscene.

I collect retro computers / consoles, try to make them do what I want them to, and even capture some demos and productions for fun.

I toot in both Norwegian and English.

Amiga was the better one. Deal with it.

Every now and then, I record podcasts with radcrew.net. Norwegian only gaming-podcast, but I try to educate them ;)

yooooo ... little update here :D

Closing in on the release.. red rooms are "uh, that's not correct", but "other people" are quickly fixing and testing more.

New video! Digging a bit deeper into the settings of the BMC64 emulator, installing all emulated systems and even getting autofire joysticks to work.

@grumpygamer I spent WEEKS solving it on the C64.

I had a friend at school who claimed it was possible to run past Edna in her room, getting up the ladder, without getting caught on his pc-version..
I played it on the C64, and it sure as "#ยค"# wasn't possible there. Probably spent a few days trying that before finally getting her out of the room :)

Good times (and no internet, so "ask a friend" was very much what we had to do.)

@quad True, I'm not REALLY a fan of Apple, but this Neo ? .. That is a gamechanger and hopefully a change in the "all laptops must be superpowerful or just not work!"-world we live in now

Will be interesting to see how it actually performs in "daily use for most people"

@quad Honestly, I wonder how long before they just replace chromebooks ...

The Atari 2600+ and 7800+ has a flashcart!

Very reasonably priced, they even have one in yellow if you are so inclined!

Thanks to @ctrlaltrees for mentioning this on his excellent podcast.

This is ... mind-boggling stuff :)

I guess I should tag @grumpygamer and @DavidBFox too :)

@halcy I have to admit that I basically did a quick internet-search, immich came out on top and "it worked for me".

Moving from google photos was VERY easy with immich-go. Kept everything I setup on google.

Trying to move away from "Big Tech", as in "yeah, let's try the european or self-hosted alternatives".

Installed immich last night, moved all my photos over, and set my phone to only backup there.

... It looks .. very good? It's fast, it's self-hosted, it's .. Okay, I can't find anything wrong with it.

(Yes, I know I'm late to the party, but atleast I'm doing something)
