March 28, 2026. Grackle. This bird and a dozen of it's colleagues descended in the bird feeder today, cleaning it out. A sure sign of spring.

March 27, 2026. First bike ride of the year - from the car dealership, where my tires are being changed, to the bike shop, for a new chain and cassette (among other things). A cold slushy 6 km ride.

First bike ride of the year - from the garage where they're putting on my summer tires to the bike shop for a tuneup (and new chain and cassette). It's still cold with snow on the ground, but I'm ready for spring, even if winter isn't ready to give up.
