I wish folks were more willing to talk about their gaming habits and hobbies over here. Probably just not following the right people or something, but Twitter right now is awash with Nintendo Direct chatter, VS here I didn't even realize it was happening.

Not sure how to get "that" over here, it's the one thing I'm missing as a 100% social site replacement. Though 90% replacement is fine, heh, I can just scan PCGAMER.

Post what you want when you want how you want. Make shitposts, post your terrible jokes, post 30 times a day about the project you're working on, post stream of consciousness or shower thoughts. If people don't like it they can unfollow or mute or block, but in my experience nobody cares and the mastodon cops are just buttmad that there's more people on here now and they can't control the tone of every conversation anymore

'Pay to Tweet' appears to be on Twitter's roadmap, after a glitch disclosed posting rate limits. That'll surely help them retain their content creators. 🍿
