We're your boots on the ground in Washington D.C. - A Pan-Partisan push for an end to the 55-year War on Drugs and a future USA where medical care is accessible to all.

Centered in the USA; Our vision is relevant for all.

With the end of #ACA subsidies and #medical insurance becoming unaffordable for many, the USA needs a new roadmap to make #medicine accessible to all.

Paying out-of-pocket for meds will be hard but manageable. *Also* paying for medical consultations required by our outdated laws will be too much for many.

Mandatory consultations are an infuriating waste of time and money all must bear. We pay our own way - We should be in full control of our own care.

If you were harmed by #drug #medication #prohibition and restrictions, you are not alone.

Unable to access meds? Criminalized for treatment? Exploited by providers? Lost friends/family to the #WarOnDrugs?

share your testimony as to why we must #DecriminalizeMeds

The War on Drugs normalized the idea that the government should be able to dictate what you can and can not do to your own body.
The War on Terror further encroached on our civil liberties.

No one wants a nanny state.
We must End the War on Drugs.

Congress is disproportionately rich, white, healthy; famous and powerful.

Prescription requirements don't mean anything when they can waltz into an office and tell the doctor what to green-light...
(their appointments paid for by our taxpayer money)

Being denied life-saving care isn't a reality of the world they live in.
It is in ours.

Being dismissed and denied treatment isn't an issue they face.
It is for us.

We the People must make our voices heard:
#Decriminalize our #Medicine

Alcohol Prohibition - Repealed
Abstinence-only sex education - Scrapped
War on Drugs - Failed

Fearmongering, misinformation, and criminalization have never led to stable societal change.

We all have different needs, and curiosity is a natural part of life.

Education with genuine information, paired with good-faith harm reduction, must be the future of USA Drug Policy.

The opioid crisis started with OxyContin, legally prescribed by doctors who were given kickbacks by greedy pharmaceutical companies.
DEA crackdowns pushed addicts to heroin, and later fentanyl -- the latter of which now taints many non-opioid drugs on black markets.

Even today, opioids remain the de-facto method of treating pain.
Cannabis - a plant - is prohibited; and the DEA continues to push to prohibit psychedelics which show promise in alleviating pain, with little recreational use.

1/2: IMO, the best way to address the fentanyl crisis is to #LegalizeAllDrugs. [There is NO way to completely "fix" the drug issue. People LIKE drugs and alcohol and cigarettes and gambling and WILL find ways to access them regardless of laws.]
1) In a high % of fentanyl overdoses, the person had no intention to consume fentanyl, it was added to something else.
2) In many more cases, people bought fentanyl ONLY because ...

Wage war on fentanyl or decriminalize? We must find a way to combat it.

We need to keep thinking about dramatic interventions to this deadly problem

This shortage exists outside the USA, too. UK NHS trusts stopped accepting new ADHD patients because of medication shortages.

Production limits enforce shortages and put patients' lives in the hands of politicians, regardless of population size or demographics:

Berkshire Healthcare temporary cuts support for new ADHD patients

The service says the "difficult" decision has been made due to high demand and national medication shortages.

USA Folks with ADHD have been unable to access life-saving care for 2 years with no end in sight. This systemic failure is unacceptable and entirely preventable.

The answer is clear: Remove DEA restrictions on drug supply and distribution; and let the markets meet demand.

A ‘perfect storm’ led to an ADHD medication shortage. Here’s why

A shortage affecting Adderall has now led to intermittent supply of other ADHD drugs, including the commonly prescribed methylphenidate, often known by brand names Ritalin or Concerta.
