Mainly work, and a bit of life, has really been challenging my plans to delurk on here.
When I’m not working, I’m staring into the void to mentally recover. And when I’m not doing that, I’m catching up on life admin so the flat (and life in general) doesn’t fall into utter chaos.
The solution to all these things? A pint and some street food at the local micro pub. Happy Friday.
Persona 3 Reload was leaving Game Pass this week, and I hadn’t quite finished my first play through (because…life), so I had to nab myself a physical copy. I ordered the version with the art book which I was expecting to be digital, but amazingly it’s physical 😍
And then, of course, I had to gather my full Persona 3 collection together for a snap. Feels weird for everything else to be PlayStation, but needs must. Life is too short to start it all again on PS5.
I’m disappointed that I was disappointed with the last season of Squid Game. Need to go back and watch the first season again as a cleanse.
An impromptu weekend trip to the motherland can only mean one thing - tasty beverages.
I’d normally have my Vitality freebie strawberry and vanilla matcha from Caffè Nero to take away in London, but it was quite nice to slow down and enjoy it to drink ‘in’
Then of course #beer was next on the agenda. Starting sensible, then building up to 1/3 of a ridiculous 14.7% imperial stout.
Then a jalapeño and melon margarita to ‘finish’…

Setting the difficulty to Amateur (because life’s too short for hard mode) and vroom-ing across Hawaii in silly fast cars. The perfect way to wind down at the end of the work week…
It’s been a very people-y day and my social battery was critically low. Instead of just coming home and crawling into bed to stare into the void, I had a shower, made myself a strawberries and cream matcha in my new gadget from Bird & Blend Tea Co., popped on a face mask and listened to the new lo-fi album from Bring Me The Horizon. Now all is well with the world 😌🧘♀️
