“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. A new year is a reminder that God’s plans are for hope, healing, and a future—far better than anything we could design ourselves.
Each of us has our own story, but the same faithful Guide. The New Year is an invitation to place our lives back in God’s hands and allow Him to reveal His plan—one step at a time.
When I surrendered my plans, God opened doors I never imagined—turning uncertainty into purpose and calling into joy. Sometimes faith looks like stepping into the unknown and trusting God to drive.
Success doesn’t always equal fulfillment. I left a “safe” corporate career when I trusted God to lead instead. Letting go of the wheel changed everything. God knows exactly where we’re meant to be.
The New Year follows Christmas for a reason. We remember God’s gift of His Son—and then recommit to surrendering our lives to His leading. Weeping may last for the night, but joy truly comes in the morning. 🌅
Jesus came as Israel’s King…
and ascended as King of the world, bringing the new covenant of grace.
Noel truly means “Good news.”

The Magi didn’t ask if a king had been born—they asked:
“Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews?” (Matt. 2:2)
This Christmas story is deeper than I ever realized.

“The First Noel” finally clicked for me:
Jesus was literally born the King of Israel.
But His kingship doesn’t stop there—He fulfills the Law and becomes King for all nations.
A beautiful truth hidden in a familiar carol.

Just published a new reflection on the meaning of “Born the King of Israel.”
For years I sang The First Noel without realizing the depth of that line.
Jesus wasn’t just born—He was born as Israel’s promised King, and through Him grace became available to the whole world.
