I feel really conflicted about this ending, It has some good elements and some bad, but it very much feels like it was rushed probably because it was, The show never really got a proper ending or closure. [spoiler] Trips pointless death was just stupid too. Did enjoy Riker and Deanna using the holo deck in that way to explore star trek history though. Also that hug archer gives t'pol was kinda emotional for me idk why. [/spoiler]
