@dyckron It's a cultural problem.

"Oh he's just picking on you because he likes you." is what is told to little girls when the abuse starts in childhood.

Our culture teaches us at a young age that this behaviour is not only acceptable, but cute. Then wonder why there's a problem when they grow-up.
