Given enough time and exposure to a hazard, life has shown a remarkable ability to adapt to all sorts of wild conditions — from extreme heat to complete lack of oxygen to dangerous radiation levels. But for a group of people living high in the Argentinian Andes, an unusual genetic advantage has given them the ability to consume drinking water containing the highly toxic chemical element arsenic. @ScienceAlert tells us more about how scientists remain puzzled by their ability "to shrug off dangerously high arsenic levels."
Police officers raided the
rapper Afroman's Ohio home,
... then sued him after he ridiculed them on social media
— but a jury just sided with the rapper.
In an unusual lawsuit members of an Ohio county sheriff’s department sued over songs and social media posts by Afroman
(Joseph Foreman)
that criticized the guns-drawn 2022 raid on his property, which yielded no charges.
The case claimed the videos were false and caused the officers "severe emotional distress".
But Afroman,
known for his 2000 hit “Because I Got High,”
testified at trial that he had a First Amendment right to mock the officers,
-- particularly after they smashed down his door for ultimately no reason:
“All of this is their fault, and they have the audacity to sue me"

Figure out who AIPAC, AI and Crypto PACs are supporting, and VOTE FOR THE OTHER CANDIDATE.
It will be tough because these sneaky guys know how unpopular they are, and they are using every dark money dirty trick in the book.
But, this is the fight for the soul of the Democratic Party. You've got this.
