@Piciok hey Paweł thanks so much for your kind message and great suggestion!

Yes, I’m personally a big fan of shortcuts myself and this feature is definitely high up on my list of priorities. I don’t know exactly when it’s ready to ship but it’s definitely planned and I’ve taken a note to ping you once something is ready to test.

Thanks for using my app, sending feedback and supporting my work. This means a lot!

I share your concerns regarding the two X buttons close to each other. It is actually a UI design pattern I adapted from several of Apple’s system apps in the Liquid Glass era.

The little X only shows up after you start typing and I hope that due to its position inside the text field, it is intuitive that it clears the text versus discarding the whole draft.

But it's certainly something people need to learn. I hope folks will have encountered this pattern and will be familiar with it by now 😅

@hendrik_kueck @manuel @jordanhipwell good point - the red was meant to communicate destructiveness but it also does draw unnecessary attention ‼️

I did add an inline confirmation dialogue when users are about to discard changes that are not persistent yet. So It is a lot less destructive now allowing me to actually tone down the color choice!

@hendrik_kueck @manuel @jordanhipwell No worries at all, Hendrik. Feedback is always welcome and I appreciate it 🙏

Happy #GlobalAccessibilityAwarenessDay!

Daylish was always built with accessibility in mind, but I challenged myself to find and fix as many rough edges as I could across Apple's accessibility tools, from VoiceOver to Dynamic Type.

Plus a polish pass on editing item details and the quick add flow.

Let me know how 1.7 feels and works for you 😊

I don't have a published roadmap anywhere yet, because I think I'm still in a phase where I'm just collecting individual user feedback and trying to make sense of the midterm vision before committing to specific goals publicly, but it is something I'm hoping to do soon and maybe even add a little roadmap preview with “feature upvote functionality”element inside the app itself. @RossA Yes, there are a number of features missing that would make it a complete calendar app replacement. I had to cut a lot of features for version 1 in order to be able to launch alongside iOS 26, but it's definitely something I'm working towards. (1/2)
