Currently, The Loch Raven Review site also hosts another of my poems, "Vertigo," which can be found at https://thelochravenreview.net/david-milley/

Also, the bound volume is mighty impressive! Behind the beautiful painting "Two Women" by Ruth Leavitt Fallon that graces the cover are nearly 300 pages of literature. It will make for several well-spent evenings of reading. It's available at Amazon.

I'm honored to see my poem, "Tiller and Shears," appear in Issue #104 of Neologism Poetry Journal: https://www.neologismpoetry.com/January-2026/.

I wrote it last spring, coming out of Jason Mitchell's "Poet's Myth" sessions and going into Christine Salvatore's "Building Worlds" workshop.

I'm crazy proud of this piece!

My author's copy of Snowflake Magazine, Anthology IV arrived today! The editors have marked my poem, "Decimal," as Editor's Pick for this issue!

It's one of my early poems, about a moment of missed timing, a Petrarchan sonnet arranged in couplets that proceed in multiples of ten.

I'm thrilled that the team at https://www.snowflakeculture.com have given my poem second life, and that they've rated it so highly!

Here's something fun! This morning the Origami Poems Project published my first little set of poems about Wade Whimsies. It's a "microchap," whichmeans, when it's folded a certain way and cut in one place, it forms a tiny booklet of six poems. You can download it for free here:

Today, my poem "The Morning News" appeared on-site at Merion West. I'm super-proud of this poem. It's about trying to hang onto what's important in hard times:

Over the weekend, my copies of the Querencia Press Summer 2025 anthology were delivered. This print volume contains a reissue of my story, "Bats," about a vivid memory of Warren in his garden on a summer night many years ago.

There's a warm feeling that comes over me when a piece I loved writing finds a new home, especially such a beautiful home as this!
