Watched RUN LOLA RUN recently & the movie is still awesome so I tried to stream/buy the soundtrack…except it’s unavailable everywhere.

So I bought it used off eBay and put the CD into my AmazonBasics DVD Drive which I plugged into a dongle into my laptop and am ripping.

Love living in the future.

FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA - A sprawling epic that takes a great path towards prequel success: creating brand new characters we’ve never met before and making us give a shit about them.

Set your expectations: this isn’t structured at all like FURY ROAD. It’s much more ambitious with a great deal more lore and world building.

Breathtaking action. Anya-Taylor Joy is magnificent. What a theatrical experience!

Holy shit wtf was I doing all these years then
Warner Execs in May 2023: We have to get rid of the HBO part of the name, it drives people away, let’s just go with MAX, it’s cleaner and has no baggage
This Week:
THE FIRST SLAM DUNK is an astonishing technical achievement. An animated film that manages to capture the beauty and intensity of basketball, with a few emotional gut punches as well. Don’t sleep on this one.

I just saw TALK TO ME at the theater and holy fuck this is supernatural horror filmmaking of the highest order. Completely in awe of what the Philippous were able to accomplish with just a few locations, a super talented young cast, and some gnarly special effects.

This one is going to burrow its way into my brain and setup shop there for awhile. Cannot recommend it highly enough if you’re looking for a scare accompanied by a palpable sense of dread.

Genuinely curious: are people still going to use Twitter when it’s called X? Are you really going to post your tweets (xeets?) to X from now on?
Yaaas queen! We stan a law enforcement agency that uses Taylor Swift references (and covertly surveils and conducts psychological warfare on US citizens)
Best part about Linda Yaccarino's Twitter profile is that it doesn't mention anywhere that she is CEO of the company. In this way, it accurately reflects the amount of power she wields.

If MILF MANOR was the First Horseman of the Apocalypse, I submit that DEEP FAKE LOVE is probably the second.

An absolutely unhinged premise that surely heralds the destruction of modern civilization.
