If past is precedent, the Trump regime's plan for Iran is:
- Say optimistic things implying an off ramp
- Send people to engage in ceasefire negotiations
- Just when things are turning positive, suddenly do a ground invasion
Congress knows this is coming but will pretend that they couldn't have stopped it.
The Iranian government is looking forward to the ground invasion because a massacre of US marines could be persuasive.
Whenever I fix one problem, I acquire two more. Yet if I stop fixing things, they still pile up.
