Targeted marketing gets everywhere these days. I was just Googling how to improve my barre chord technique, and then this ad popped up in my Lemmy feed...
I had from time to time wondered what this weird creature is on the Enfield council logo. I am quite pleased to discover that it is in fact an enfield.
So one wonders where the "Tintin and the Broken Ear" image came from. Wikipedia baldly states that the book was "originally published in English as Tintin and the Broken Ear", but this is clearly wrong as my 1975 copy is the first translated edition, and the longer name appears nowhere except on its spine.
That copy also shows the correct image on the back (in last place) – but the 1989 paperback uses the "Tintin and the Broken Ear" image even though it doesn't match its own front cover!
