In flagrant violation of international law and Article 13 of the Geneva Convention, the Israeli government today passed a law authorizing the execution of Palestinian prisoners amidst widespread treachery and complicity. God is our refuge, and He is the best of planners.

Samen met mijn ouders dook ik in de doos spullen die mijn grootouders bewaard hebben uit de oorlog. Trouw, heel veel Trouw, want ze waren beide koerier. Van mijn opa vonden we daar ook bewijs van. En er zat een persoonsbewijs in van opa dat zeer waarschijnlijk vals is. Hij is geboren in 1926, maar volgens het persoonsbewijs is dat 1928 en werkte hij bij de PTT. Opa zat toen op de HBS. We vermoeden dat hij zo de Arbeidseinsatz kon ontlopen.
