This weekend, I built my own image based on #universalblue. My goal was to replace Brew with #Nix on a vanilla base. It's done, and without affecting immutability and avoid layering.

It's incredible, we can now have an #immutable atomic #Fedora base, with #Docker, #Podman, #Bootc, and access to #Nixpkgs to work. I clearly think this type of mix is the future and shows how far you can go with modern technologies. No joke, even distrobox allows you to run all Linux binaries, it's a crazy freedom.

I can implement my changes in the cloud, test the build, and debug before even updating on my final machine.

Universal-Blue is incredible; please consider supporting them, whether it's for projects like #bluefin #aurora #bazzite or even the community movement.
