Light pollution is so weird...

Ever since I came to college I've become acutely aware of just how few stars you can see at night.

I'm so used to looking up and seeing a night sky completely covered in stars, distant planets, etc. But here? The sky is just black with some barely visible stars here and there, nothing compared to home.

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer the city over bum fuck-nowhere, but there are certainly some things I need to get used to.

I also do quite miss the spring peepers at night... and the birds... and the trees... and the clean air... and the quiet...

I did it again.
I spent about an hour talking about Sonic the Hedgehog. Again. I don't even know this dude's NAME, he just asked me about my thoughts on the 3rd Sonic movie, and the floodgates OPENED LMAO.
(He was very chill about it and genuinely wanted to hear my thoughts, but it's still embarrassing DJKSHKJDFS)

omg so recently I started messing with #overleaf more, and I've been writing some of my lecture notes for several different classes on it and OMG... I LOVE LaTEX! I wish I learned this sooner. I'm currently writing a personal Calculus 2 exam review sheet to help summarize the last chapter and study with, and overleaf makes everything look SO NICE, it looks like i'm writing a textbook lmao

Also, saying "everyone should vote" isn't the same as saying "voting should be the extent of your civic participation", any more than saying "everyone should brush their teeth" is the same as "brushing your teeth should be the only personal hygiene action you take"
